Whilst testing multiple barrels from our barrel store, we particularly enjoyed this individual barrel, which displayed some excellent characteristics. This imperial breakfast stout was brewed over two years ago and has been maturing in barrel since. It has developed fantastic flavours of maple syrup, honey and soft spicy oak. The barrel we selected showcases the wonderful Heaven Hill bourbon, whilst delivering the sweet chocolate notes and light coffee flavours associated with our range of breakfast stouts.
